Every tradition affirms this truth in its own way—whether through the stages of yoga, the ladders of contemplation, the initiations of mystery schools, or the mystical ascent toward God. To know that such possibilities exist is already to step out of the prison of materialism.
But recognition alone is not enough.
From Glimpse to Discipline
It is easy to glimpse the higher. A book, a moment of silence, a sudden intuition—any of these can awaken the sense that something more exists. Yet such glimpses are fleeting. Without discipline they fade, leaving only nostalgia or confusion.
This is why the ancients always spoke of paths—whether in Vedānta, Buddhism, Christianity, or Islam. To realize there is more is only the beginning. What follows is the necessity of a course of study and practice, a methodical way to develop the faculties that lie dormant within us.
If one wishes to cultivate strength of body, one trains it daily through exercise. If one wishes to cultivate strength of mind, one studies, memorizes, thinks. And if one wishes to awaken higher centers of consciousness, the same principle applies: a curriculum is needed, a deliberate program that works step by step to refine and expand what we are capable of.

We stand in continuity with thinkers like René Guénon and Ananda Coomaraswamy, who insisted that metaphysical truth is eternal, and that modern life has obscured our relation to it. At the same time, we carry forward the evolutionary vision of Sri Aurobindo, who showed that consciousness itself is not static but ever-unfolding, pressing toward the supramental.
